Change in release date of WE ARE FAMILY

WE ARE FAMILY, Karan Johar’s much anticipated official remake of ‘Stepmom’ starring Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal will be releasing on 2^nd Sept instead of 3^rd . This decision has been taken keeping in mind that 2^nd being Janamashtami is a holiday across most parts of India, which would help the film in terms of extended weekend footfalls.

Previously the movie was supposed to get released on September 10th, but they shifted the release date one week earlier on 3rd September due to competition from Salman Khan’s Dabangg. This is the second time they change the release date, hope they stick to it.
