Boxoffice: Agneepath Has Bumper Opening Collection All Over!

Karan Johar’s Hrithik-Sanjay-Priyanka starrer Agneepath opened to excellent collections today at the box office. Although movie opened on Thursday, the Republic day holiday factor should work in favour of the movie. Agneepath gets extended 4 days weekend and the movie is supposed to fetch excellent numbers during this period. In fact the opening day collections are heading for record earnings.
Noted boxoffice analyst and critic Taran Adarsh tweeted “#Agneepath opening: Not just @iHrithik ‘s biggest opener, but also amongst the biggest opener of all times. Should have a record Day 1. At the rate it has *opened*, the only ‘competitor’ for #Agneepath is #Bodyguard. Neck to neck at most places, better at some. #Agneepath opening: Vijay Dinanath Chauhan rules. Not just Mandwa. But entire India.”
Taran predicted a 20 cores plus day one, “Early trends: Looking at the thunderous start, #Agneepath Day 1 should be 20 cr + nett. Neck to neck with #Bodyguard. At places, better”
