Zarine Khan in 'Veer'
Zarine Khan is the heroine of Salman Khan’s Veer, released in the last week. Unlike the new, size zero brigade; she looked quite curvy in the film. We asked her why she didn’t give a thought to new weight loss obsession in the industry. She replied “I wasn’t required to look skinny in Veer, as I needed to be little plump for the kind of attires I wore in the film. Besides, since it is a periodic film, I had to look like a princess lived long ago, where slightly plump was fashionable…”
Now, a bikini is not a taboo for Bollywood anymore, as lots of them are donning bikini these days. We asked weather she would be comfortable donning that, to our surprise, she said “of course, I would love to don a bikini if a film demands it. But unfortunately, I don’t think I would be able to, because I consider myself too fat for that,“ she told few secrets “ you won’t believe, I weighed 100 kg during my school and college days. And I reduced 40-45 kg weight only after I joined modeling. She says she’s not much confident about her body, so many actresses are that way, but few have the guts to agree that. We appreciate her honesty.
And she concluded that, though her body structure wouldn’t allow her to be a size zero figure, but she still wants to reduce her weight as much she could, so that she can play the quintessential glamorous heroine of Bollywood.
