Arjun Rampal
Arjun is on cloud nine ever since the National awards were declared, an emotional Arjun said, “It’s a real honor and a wonderful feeling. It’s a big one. It’s a very emotional moment for everybody in my family. It was same for my friends and whole team of ‘Rock On!’ as well,” Arjun won the best supporting actor award for his role in ‘Rock On’ directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by, Farhan Akhrar. ‘Rock On’ also won the best Hindi film award. So it was a double celebration time for the whole team.
When asked about his wife Mehr Jesia’s reaction, he said, “I won’t tell you whether she cried or not, but definitely she became very, very emotional.”
It is indeed a great achievement for Arjun, since he was criticized that he is just another model who can’t act, and he almost bid bye to the industry after a string of flops as a hero. And his return to the industry marked him in supportive and villain roles. And that move has really paid off, finally. He had played the villain in Shahrukh Khan’s super hit ‘Om shanti Om’.
The whole ‘Rock On’ team was gathered at Rampal’s house to celebrate this victory
Rampal said, “”We are going to party tonight at my house. We are going to start now, as a part of celebration,”
